Wesper AI assistant (coming soon) and more panel news

Published: 14/07/2026

A major update of the Game panel is out! Here is what you can look forward to:

Wesper AI assistant

  • Reads logs and configuration and tells you why something isn't working

  • Handles everything you can do in the panel - files, backups, scheduled tasks, mod installs, and server settings

  • By default, every change runs only after your approval

  • Understands screenshots of errors too

Wesper will first be tested by selected users, then rolled out to everyone - a basic version free of charge, higher tiers with a smarter model and bigger limits available as a monthly subscription.

A new generation of backups

  • After the first backup, only changes are stored - backups are faster and lighter

  • Every server has its own encryption key and backups are stored encrypted

Automatic updates for Steam games

  • The panel watches for new builds of supported games and warns players before the restart with your own commands

  • Enable it in the Settings tab - it is off by default

MCP connector for AI apps

  • Connect the panel to Claude or any other MCP-compatible app and manage your servers straight from a conversation

  • It can do everything you can in the panel - from restarts through files to mod installs

  • You will find the setup guide on the Connected applications page

Improved existing features

  • Workshop - view a mod, plugin, or modpack in detail (description, gallery, changelog, dependencies) directly in the panel

  • Statistics - now also show disk activity

  • Server import - SFTP and FTP, with live progress in the console

  • Reverse proxy - works with our domains too (e.g. mcplay.cz), with a free HTTPS certificate issued automatically

  • Light mode - toggle at the bottom left of the side menu

Some features are not fully finished yet and we are shipping them gradually - for example, the player manager is currently missing from the panel, but it will return soon in an improved form.

You will find everything in your Game panel.
